A "Karate-Ka" is a practitioner of karate.

The purpose of Youth Karate-Ka Association is to encourage and provide a place for "at risk youth" to be educated and trained in the martial arts. Particular emphasis is placed on encouraging discipline in all areas of the student's life; providing them with an alternative to drugs and crime; developing conflict resolution skills; furthering life's goals; and developing in young people a sense of community and civic pride. Youth Karate-Ka also instills the importance of taking responsibility for oneself in and out of the martial arts arena.

We have had the pleasure of training thousands of youth in our community. Your continued support makes it all possible.
